Linnell Gourmand

"Three of the four foods I had for lunch are also words that connote mental illness."

This lovely article documents Linnell's adventures in food when Karen is away. Some funny stuff, plus it made me hungry.

Every morning for me begins with the bracing shock treatment of Cafe Bustelo.

. . . *blinkblink* . . . WE. DRINK. THE. SAME. COFFEE.

Is it really that incendiary or doth M. Linnell exaggerate much?

I drink the espresso version, and yes . . . It will wake you up. I've actually made myself sick by drinking too much. (When I first got the espresso machine I was really enthusiastic. *facepalm*)

Another wonderful piece of Linnell writing to add to the collection. My favorite bit was where he reminds the reader that he is promoting Nanobots right now. Plus the bit about buying Henry ice cream as consolation was very sweet. I don't believe I can buy that coffee here or else I'd try it out. Hopefully they'll do plenty more press in the coming weeks.

Btw I've got tickets to see TMBG!! So excited!

Oh, Cathy, I'm so glad you'll se them ! I think I'll see them in Atlanta before but, that's a more common occurrence. I wonder if Henry will get to do to Australia?

Thank you for sharing. That was enjoyable. Now I might have to try that coffee because I need the boost.

That is pretty funny. :D For some reason, the bit about the new phone cracked me up the most...

Farsighted people do have that google-eyed look. People like Flans, who is nearsighted (as am I), and who has beautiful eyes, have their eyes reduced in the prism of their lenses. *snif*
