Beer Made In My General Area, Not By Me.

I am sad to say that I simply cannot make FCN this weekend. :(

But, on the subject of local breweries, did you even know that there is actually a brewery right behind our house? It's torturous to smell all the wonderful scents wafting from that place. http://www.milwaukeebrewingco.com/

Aw, sorry to hear that. I'm only able to make it this year because I can do it as a weekend, with no time off. Too bad the Lake Express isn't a whole lot faster and cheaper than it is... Anyway, you'll be missed!

As for the Milwaukee Brewing Company, I'm going to have to check them out sometime. I enjoy the smells of brewing. My first impression of the smell of a pot of boiling wort was that it smelled like a wet dog baking bread, which inspired this icon. It really needs to go on a label one of these days...

*pssst* If you're going to be in A2 this weekend and appreciate good beer/pub food, I can recommend Arbor Brewing Company (old clients of mine).

Thanks! Unfortunately the con has moved to Novi, about 25 miles away. I will still be heading to AA for a meal at some point, but when I do I will probably be going back to one or both of these places, because they have been haunting my dreams. Nom!
