I found an interestingly ambiguous sentence in a segment of You Have Been Watching, a British television show, on YouTube. Part of the clip I saw involved the host giving a description of footage from another show. At one point, he comments:

"Matthew Kelly there, asking us to place bets. If I had to put money on it, I'd say he probably is."

This video is embedded under a cut, and it'll start playing at 2:15, which gives you a bit more context. If you want to skip ahead to the remark I quoted, it's at 3:28. )

I can see how those two interpretations make grammatical sense in some circumstances, but in the context of the video, neither is possible.
