I think the mirror!verse section was my favourite, except (doh) I was a little ‘huh?’ at first - I must read author notes more carefully! I loved the Elizabethan feel in this, the formal language between them, the oaths and gestures and, this:
Closing his eyes, McCoy bowed his head. He waiting, neck exposed, nerves exposed, the acid in his stomach churning with an emotion he could not name but was neither fear nor anticipation. His meaning was unmistakable: my life for you. one of the sexiest things EVER! This begs a sequel, a really hot, smexy sequel - fuck the plot - just have them fuck, please?

Mirror-verse section was unquestionably my favorite, too! I had never written MV fic before, but it was kind of addictive and now I have the urge to keep going. I don't know if I'm up to a pwp sequel though - I feel like writing mirrorverse sex requires more experience than I've got! (I know, why don't YOU remix it?) ;)

Seriously though, remixing this was a barrel of fun. (especially when the source material was so good - thanks Sky!) You should definitely try it! (I bet you would have no shortage of people offering to partner up) :D
