So, unless you want to know about the aging properties of canvas, the chemistry of oil paint and home-made ink, and how to find old stuff that allows you to fake artworks, this book might turn out to be rather boring.
I know that my personal squee about something can be misleading for people who's brain are wired in a different way... I just thought I'd warn you before you buy this book and end up disappointed. ;)
