*curses LJ for playing up*

That's absolutely fantastic! I love your "music" inspired artwork (you know the flirting by the harpsichord is one of my favourites) and this one is no exception. They both look so relaxed and confident, yet also concentrated on their art. That the usually so orderly Mr. Norrington treats his notes like that, thus... ;-)

I'd love to see the "aged" version, that's very fascinatin and if you ever have the time, it would be great to hear more about it. Maybe you could take a photograph of it?

I hope LJ behaves...

It was fun to draw this, and to paint with Indian ink instead of watercolours. Although I have to confess that I was very tempted to do this in watercolours as well...

The aged version (or rather, the *cough*original*cough* 18th century piece) has been photographed and is now online here. :)

*claps* Fantastic! Glad to see you post another piece of artwork. I'm producing neither visual or verbal artwork at the moment. School kind of drains me of inspiration and all my words are used up in papers. ;) It be ever so more pleasant if I could actually get myself to write something fun...

*sigh* 1 3/4-3 years more...

Thank you!

I finally get around to posting a few things - not that I manage to draw much right now, but I still have a huge backlog of things I want to share here. :)

That is just beautiful! I love all the fine detail, like the buttons on the trousers and the lacing on the back of his vest.

Thank you! Those details always manage to sneak in - somehow my brain can't ignore them ever since I found out how these things really worked...
