Unemployment

So, I was told today that my contract will not be renewed for next year. My impression is that this is due to budget cuts, but seeing as I wasn't really given a reason as to why I won't have my current job next year, I can't be sure

wow bro, I'm sorry to hear that. There are still plenty of opportunities out there so keep looking and seeing what you can find. Honestly there will be a lot of openings over the next couple weeks as people decide they are taking a new position, retiring or moving elsewhere for whatever reason.
