I've been reading about Disassociative Identity Disorder for one of my classes, and it's really quite facinating. Have any of you heard of Sybil? It was a movie, and a book as well. I read it a long time ago. She had something like 15 different personalities. It's books like that which make me sure I chose the right major. I find it so interesting ( Read more... )

The sybil case is crazy. I have enough to deal with having only one. I can only imagine what that would be like. If you ever want to do something, let me know. I'm always up for meeting new people, especially fellow rough riders!

I would have, only I have an early class tomorrow (boo to Friday classes) and a paper due already that I need to finish. You'd think they'd give us a little more time before assigning a paper, but nooo.

Is there anything going on this weekend, though?

I'm not sure. Normally there's a ton going on around campus, especially the first couple of weekend's, but this year...well, everything's different, isn't it?

You should read When Rabbit Howls. It's an biographical account of a woman named Truddi Chase who has over 80 different personalities. It's quite fascinating.

Now that I think about it, that title sounds familiar. I think my prof mentioned it in class. I'll definitely check it out. Thanks for the tip!

What's cool is that Crazy Jane, a superhero with multiple personalities from Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol, is based on her.
