The Frog is in the ER right now, and he's likely to be admitted once they get a bed for him. They can't be sure until they get the chest X-ray back, but they think he may have pneumonia. Okay - the thing on his finger is a pulse oximeter. It measures how much oxygen is in his blood stream - optimal is 100%, obviously, but if he's possibly got pneumonia, then he's not in a bad range. It just means that he's not getting good, deep breaths; probably because of the coughing. Shay used to get to 85% before they'd get concerned. They *might* put him in an oxygen tent, but that will make him feel a lot better.

Blood sugar can jump with an infection, or just from stress. That one I wouldn't worry about until they say there's a problem.

The best thing they can do IMHO, is a bit of sedation (just enough to make him sleepy) and antibiotics/O2 tent.
