Diplomacy truly can be as dangerous as war! All's well as ends better, as the Gaffer would say. :)

Foolish Faramir! Silly, silly man! But at least he was the epitome of grace and diplomacy. It would not be like him to lash out at Tahir and make relations between their countries worse! Hmm...I could never be a politician I think.

Trust Arwen to have the most sense, as do most women when the men betray their foolishness.

I really enjoyed this story! It made me passionate! Even though I should never care too much about politics!

Thank you so much. Yes, even Faramir can do foolish things sometimes. If the wives had been present the dual would never have happened.

Tut, tut, tut, whatwillEowyn say when she inevitably gets wind of this?
The story started out so light-hearted and I expected Arwen to pull some unexpected trick in the practice grounds, but then it suddenly turned serious. And now I'm left wondering exactly what Arwen did to twist the Kha Khan's arm!

I don't think she will be very happy.

I think Arwen knows a lot from her Grandma and in my other stories the Harradrim are terrified of powerful wise women damaging their virility.
