job interview

Kicked butt. Manager wants me to start as soon as I clear the pee test. She must have been all of 19, I swear. I just hope this doesn't screw up my schedule too much. Hopefully I can get mostly days and the kiddies will all want night hours.

Bah, retail. Beats food service, I guess.

Very awesome. :D Do you think you might be moving up to the direct animal care, with your keeper experience? Is that even a move "up", there?
Eeeee!! for you! :D

I'm working the small animal dept., so yes, direct care, plus cashier training, and I'm not sure it's an up, considering we all get minimum.

Yes to both, and I was interviewed by a young thing named Alicia.

The only job I had close to food service was being a beer server on a brewery tour, and though vastly more stressful, it was way more fun than any retail job I ever had. My sister works at Noodles and she says it's fun, but she's never done retail. Your mileage may vary, I suppose. At any rate, congrats on the job, something I don't currently have! :)

Congratulations! Does this mean you can keep your home?

So far, yes. Not sure how well I'll do once my brother finds a place of his own, and he's looking hard.
