I am so incredibly torn between 'otp! Cultverse now has otp! And it's kind of hot! \o/ ' and wanting to hide under my bed. Which I think means you did your job, and did it very well indeed. *shivers*

And god, Brendon clinging desperately, doubtingly to his childhood faith as Pete slowly broke him from it was not even something I knew I wanted, but it made me go yes so hard. I got to "I am a believer," Brendon sobs, "I've been saved, I am, I believe, I believe in God, the Father, the Almighty-" and sort of sucked in my breath hard. (You, er, mentioned spiritual agony fic at some future point, right? Right? Because this is the part where I teasingly threaten to sit on you until you provide).
