I haven't been spending much time in the land of live journal. I found another place to waste my time lately :)

But, I'm all sorts of antsy today because I'm having a nerve block tomorrow morning. Look out left side of my jaw and all sorts of pieces and parts on that side. But, if it works it is going to be a really good thing...

Thank you Jess, I really appreciate it. I wonder if Shawn's dad tried any blocks. That's a dumb question, he suffered for such a long time, he had to of tried them.
It was a more painful experience than expected... whew! You and I are due for a phone chat soon. Maybe next week when I'm not so sore. Thanks again.

I have no idea why this popped into my head, but I just realized how long we've known each other. Wow, we met before I had symptoms of TN and I was still with my ex-husband. Has to be at least six years now, neat... I'm loopy, sorry. ;-P
Anyway, the block hurt like a bitch. They went in through my neck, near my collar bone. I have to have 3 more over the course of 2 - 3 months before we'll know if they will work. If they work then I would get one monthly. Sure, it's not pleasant, but it would mean no more or a lot less medication. That means I can have children and my life back in general. Plus, this could save me from having a risky surgery that could have some nasty side effects. I'm really hoping this works out!!
