I went shopping locally last night, hit six stores and found nothing like the bed I want. I want a platform bed (full size) with a low profile and a reasonably low headboard. I have the perfect platform bed it even has storage. I think it's the perfect bed anyway. Bren has the plans for it. You should come see.

Actually, daddysir and I talked about making a bed, but that's not really a practical solution for me right now. He wants to design a bed for me, and eventually he will, but in the mean time, I need to replace the creaking Hollywood frame supporting my aged mattress & box spring. We're going to (argh!) IKEA today to check things out. [sigh]
