I know it feels that way right now. It will take a long time before things do get better, but I promise you they will.

When I was a little girl, my father died, and I spent so, so long hoping that things would change, that somehow he'd come back and everything would be alright again. I was so, so angry at him for leaving me - after all, how could he love me if he'd left me behind? - but eventually I realised that it was better to treasure my memories of him than spend my time being angry.
