Day Four in NJ
Monday, December 11th: Greg, Adela and I went into the City and visited the Museum of Modern Art. They had some great exhibits but I'm a traditionalist at heart. My favorite artist at the museum was Giorgio de Chirico. Don't ask me why.
MoMA also has a version of the Broken Obelisk by Barnett Newman, the same one that's in UW's Red Square.

Day Three in NJ

Day 2
Yesterday (December 9th), Adela and I walked to the nearest grocery store and bought supplies to make breakfast. After feasting on a delicious meal of buttermilk pancakes, we drove to Brookdale Park and walked the two mile trail. It was nice and kind of restored my faith in New Jersey. Day One in New Jersey
After a 4 hour delay, I finally boarded my flight to New Jersey yesterday afternoon. The flight was riddled with turbulence but I made it safely. The only real problem was occupying myself for the four hours. Dear God
Note the time of this entry: 4:22am. I HAVEN'T GONE TO SLEEP YET!!! I took a 2 hour nap (8:30-10:30) and I'm still fucking awake! I'm so fucked!!!
WHY GOD? WHY CAN'T I FALL ASLEEP????
Instead of sleeping, I'm forced to watch late night reruns of Queer Eye and Alias.

It's been a long time since my last entry. The scoop is that I start a new job on Monday. It's a promotion so I guess that's good. There are times when I think "I can handle this" and times where I reach for a paper bag so I can hyperventilate properly. I'm in a funk. I think I need a new job. I don't like the way my job makes me fell anymore. I used to feel like I had a pretty good grip on what I needed to know, that people liked me, etc. Just a general good feeling about work.
