very good. This shows two sides of love- learned love, and plain natural love. I think learned love is just as important, because it takes effort. You really should try stretching some of your poems into short stories. Ignore the old conflict/resolution plotline and just write if you think it will help :)
:D you made my day. most of the time i write (or attempt to) off the top of my head in response to some obscure idea or a reference made by someone that i think is interesting. this one was inspired by someone's info "love sucks" and it made me so sad to see, because it's the motto that our generation embraces when our hearts hurt. so i thought about this couple that i saw on tv who are celebrating their 87th wedding anniversery this year. and all they said about their marriage was that they just wanted to make the other happy. almost brought me to tears, that. i am a sucker for compliments. GAWD!
I just realized that I never replied to your comment. In any case, thank you very much. It's always nice to have nice things said about possibly the most intimate things that I write. I hope that you are around as well, so that you know that your words did not fall on deaf ears!

I'm a writer, too. I came across your journal by chance. I hope you're still around the reply.
Anyway, nice writing. I really love your icon.
