Uhhh... Neutered like a pet? That wouldn't do me any good - you know I like the action, just not the results. Well maybe sometimes. Do they do vasectomies in Middle Earth?
Heh, I remember when a college friend thought her male cat was just going in for a vasectomy. I saw him go by with his tail up and said he'd be saying good-bye to those parts soon. Her "Ooh, they cut them off??!!" was priceless. But to apply that to Aragorn... *cringe*
Actually, if a male has enough testosterone, he would still be able to get an erection after having been neutered. He just wouldn't produce any sperm. At least that's what the Discovery Channel says, and y'know- they're ALWAYS right. :0)
And he'd be housebroken too! Nope, still can't picture Aragorn as a soprano. And I'm not sure I'd want to let Elrond at him when he's still pissy about his daughter...
what's really odd is that I've always thought of him as having a higher tenor- but then my dad had a really DEEP bass, so most men sound 'too high' to me. But, I agree- not much could dent Our Ranger Strider's virility. :-D
