I totally see your point. I mean, I'm not huge on Star Wars, but anything in space is fine by me, but I get it. In a similar vein, my love of Star Trek comes from my inherent love of the cheesy and campy. Though the original series and first movies are 100x more campy than the camp in Wars (Star Trek IV: The One With The Whales), I can't help but love it. There are loads of ST:The Next Generation people that think it's totally stupid and they only acknowledge it existing because it started the whole thing

I will admit that I'm not completely sure as to what I said the other evening, and I definitely may have said it the way you wrote it - considering that you have a better memory than I do, I probably did. But I never meant to say that I personally thought Jake Lloyd ruined Star Wars. I agree that Star Wars has not be ruined. I think what I said was an attempt dramatize what certain fans at the time felt/still feel toward Jake Lloyd and emphasize how horrible it is that fan opinions changed him from the sweet kid we saw on the screen to the sullen, angry young adult I saw in an interview

Oh, I know you were only dramatizing what other people say! I didn't think you were expressing your own opinion. And you're absolutely right about that horrible fans gave poor Jake Lloyd hell, and that's probably a big part of why he is the way he is. I completely agree.

And anyway, people have a right to say that George, for example, ruined Star Wars. I just... think they're wrong. And this entry explains why. And most of the time they're just echoing what they've heard other people say, anyway.

I didn't know you like Revenge of the Sith so much. That makes me happy. :)
