last night in baltimore for a while.  as usual, sleep deprived, not yet packed.  i'll have to make sense of this later.  i never thought this city would become home, but it did in enormous ways.

i graduated a little over two months ago and have been fortunate to live out of a suitcase ever since.

Jittery; tomorrow is the first day of my senior year of college.

there's the 2 a.m. night stillness that growing up here showed me so much of, and now that i'm back, i'm paralyzed by.  in baltimore, bless the city's soul, the nighttimes occur by a window, which looks out over a street, which adjoins to a larger street, which stretches out to the web of the city's roadway infrastructure.

Startling to realize I haven't written a real English research paper since Steele's class, sophomore year of high school.
For Writing Sems the most academic literary work I've done is writing useful blubs about "texture" or "tempo" or "narrative schemes."
This English paper, on the other hand, eeeekk ...
