"So...that's the stairs," Dawn gestured like she was Vanna White as she and Buffy made her way down the hall, "and we passed the common room, where there's usually someone cooking and watching televsion, and this is our room," she opened the door and poked her head in

Buffy took a good look around, and asked, "So the tape? Do you have it here or do I have to buy it myself?"

Dawn hung her head. "It's in the desk. Center drawer."

Buffy was almost cheerful as she retrieved the tape from the drawer and began trying to measure what exactly was the middle of the room. "Do you think you should both get the door, or should we just lock him in here?"

Because people paid attention to tape lines.

"I think we should both get the door, though having Sam trapped in here has an appeal I probably shouldn't be telling you about," she decided. "Um, yes, we should both have the door."
