"I...well, I can't argue with you on that, because I want to be where the books live," he said, snickering. "But I promise, I won't abuse my power enough to lose my job."
"Oh, that's helpful." He made a mental note to not be goofy unless he was certain Dawn wouldn't be there. "Maybe you should come by during lunch. I'm pretty sure no one else will be around then."
"See, that's you being sweet again." Dawn smiled at him a little more widely than was probably warranted. "I mean, it's not like I don't see you all the time."
"I know. But I'm probably not going to get to talk to you in Prophecy lab, so lunch will be the first time we'll get to talk," he pointed out. "And if the morning is crazy, I'll need the sanity check."
