Went to school today to finish the ATI testing, got that outta the way. Went and argued with the secretary in the nursing office to see my records. She told me I couldn't, I told her that interestinly I have a document from the UCF site saying as a student I have a right to review and inspect my records ( Read more... )

You know, businesses really shouldn't hire people who don't know what they're doing... When you mentioned the documentation she should have realized that you're not some stupid kid who'll fool easy.

Yeah, but that's been the mentality of the nursing program since I've started there, we're treated like morons, I seriously was treated like more of an adult from most of my teachers in high school than I was in nursing school.

I just thank the merciful heavens I made it to graduation. =P

This is the epitome of what nursing school is about. What does she think she is the gatekeeper for student records? Good for you about telling her off and letting her know that she can't push you around.

Thanks, it makes me happy because I used to be sooo passive about stuff like that, a couple of years ago I'd have left and just felt stupid and sorry for myself, but now I get even, muhahahaha...

Anywho, I might step in and do it after class on Monday if you'd like to join me in my triumphant journey to get my records! =P
