Anyway, I never said all fifth graders are stupid. However, you hafta admit those particular projects weren't exactly the cream of the crop.

My guess is they were kids looking for an easy project.

Well see, according to them, "both ice cubes melted" which seems rather obvious. They didn't say anything about the shape or the time it took to melt.

I was scared for a moment thinking they possibly were wondering would the ice cube melt at all?

However, my instincts tell me they conducted this breakthough research the night before the project was due.

So I guess the world may never know...

i really try to be nice to people, but i really feel like a lot of people resent me because sometimes i make stupid mistakes.....

Heh heh, I am always having to put my foot in my mouth. I dunno if that's what you meant or not, like saying the wrong thing...

I bet people don't resent you nearly as much as you think they do...
