Anyway, I never said all fifth graders are stupid. However, you hafta admit those particular projects weren't exactly the cream of the crop.

My guess is they were kids looking for an easy project.

Well see, according to them, "both ice cubes melted" which seems rather obvious. They didn't say anything about the shape or the time it took to melt.

I was scared for a moment thinking they possibly were wondering would the ice cube melt at all?

However, my instincts tell me they conducted this breakthough research the night before the project was due.

So I guess the world may never know...
