It is still not possible to see out of my left eye, especially since the meniscus wobbles straight through the middle of my line of vision. Oh, I went trick or treating. I learned early on that rich people have all of the best candy, so I did my trick or treating in Pacific Heights. I think that somewhere around six years old, I may have dressed up as an unironic princess. I also took ballet. This phase did not last long.

One very exciting thing happened with my vision the other day: I noticed that the grey spot in my peripheral vision is gone. My vision in my left eye is still uselessly blurry, but this is an indication that once the air bubble is gone and I have new corrective lenses, I will probably get all of my eyesight back.

I wound up skipping the masquerade anyhow. It turns out that I am not quite so ready to dress up and go out as I'd thought. Once this week was enough. I am hoping I will be back in fine form in time for the Halloween festivities.
