yay for drama-free wedding dress -- which sounds like it will suit you beautifully.

I imagined that it would be a time when no one would interrupt me while I was trying to read.

Why is my adulthood not like this? Why do I get interrupted while reading? Hmmmm?

Sounds like your dress will be fabulous. :)

Oh come on - We're ALL some kind of dessert. Maybe you just have not found your after-dinner identity yet?

I'll bet you're some kind of cobbler, or perhaps a torte?

netik's probably a rather bitter hard candy with a chewy center. (AND WHAT'S HE WEARING BTW?!?!?)

Personally, I think I'm a 7-layer cake, or some unidentifiable Russian pastry made from very dark chocolate and out-of-season berries.

I think that the word you're looking for a "tart." A well-dressed tart.

J will wear whatever makes him feel happy, attractive, and comfortable. He has mumbled something about Ted Baker and John Varvatos, so I assume he has plans. We've been watching Bond movies, which usually make him very enthusiastic about nice suits.
