when djinn and I did MEAT brides a few years ago, we went to the jessica mcclintock outlet and didn't encounter any attitude. just a lot of chattering girls shopping for quinceanera dresses.

Unflattering lyrca leotards come from the interwebs. I buy them at Dance Distributors. All of our local sources of dancewear are egregiously expensive. I bought a leotard at American Apparel once, before I knew better - it was too big, too thin, and it fell apart along immediately upon contact with the rope.

do you know if the size charts at dance distributors are reasonably accurate?

I have ordered a few leotards from them and they have always fit, so in my experience they have been accurate.
