Hmmm, the SO wanted to go to our favorite Chinese restaurant tonight, provided he got home early.  He said that he was going to call before he left and it's already 1800.  See, to me this is getting on the verge of coming home at the same time as always: late.  Never mind that he's been staying on post for the past four days because of an exercise

that's so damn frustrating. I remember that well.

The only time so far I have been annoyed with the CF for detaining my SO has been at the required dinner function he attended, where he was to be let out at such and such a time, and since I am not a common law spouse as of yet, and such, so I waited in the car on a side street in a very bad part of town for 2 1/2 hours. That was frustrating.

Hey next time you should go to the Chinese place if he hasn't called by such and such a time and get the foods and then once he calls you can arrange it all nice-like for when he gets home!

Yeah, I thought about doing that, getting take out, but he wanted to go out to eat.

We have a favorite waiter there, but he wasn't there last night. :-( I think it was his night off, and we've never been there on a Tuesday night, so maybe.
