Comic

Long time no write. I come bearing 8 pages of comic.

This comic was not supposed to happen. The non-existence plot of this whole thing comes from a slashfest prompt (which I was too slow to claim it my own and therefore meant to forget about), and I was going to work on an angsty, major character-death, G-rated comic for the new fanzine. But the angst spun out a 10+ pages monster which I just didn't have enough time to even have the panels planned before the due date of the zine. Besides, it's just rude to put out character-death downer during the holiday season. So, um, yeah, now we have 8 pages of Christmas-y PWP, Harry/Draco/Squid.

I come to realize what makes PWP so appealing - to their creators, at least, 'cuz man this was just too goddamn fun to work on. I know it might not appeal so much to the viewers - I for one do not care much for PWP fan stuff, but creating it is a different matter. I quite enjoyed making this comic (even though I was in the angst mood the whole time), and it is my sincere hope that this doesn't put you off too much.

Some of the dialogues are borrowed from / inspired by Boris Vian's Foam of the Daze (can't remember the original French title).

I've never had mulled cider, nor mulled anything. The closest thing I've seen is some warm, spicy, brownish beverage being served at IKEA many Christmases ago. They brewed it in a huge ceramic cauldron in which slices of orange and mysterious spice/herb were swimming. Now I think of it, the whole set up looked so very Harry Potter.

Enough rambling. Hope you'd enjoy this.

Title: Under the Influence of Homebrew Mulled Cider (Harry/Draco/Squid)
Rating: PG-13, for the overly skimpy little pink dress The Fat Lady's wearing
Warning: PWPWP
