Went on a hunt for that, came up with lots of interesting results, but not what you are looking for. However, I was taken in by propriate functioning. (see this link for more details about the guy who invented the word and the definition. Not terribly helpful, but a random bit of something that happened to wander by and waved.

I've got a friend who really relates most strongly to the sense of touch, out of all the senses.
They describe it as having a "haptic interface". Geeky, I know. But it conveys the idea well.

Yes, I've always liked the word "haptic" and wish it were in wider circulation. But one has to be cautious about mixing Greek and Latin roots :)
