It really was beautifully and powerfully written and delivered. The two older ladies of the church I spoke to after the service really waxed poetic about it. Well done.

Yay! I was really happy with how it felt, like the congregation was right with me. Thanks for passing along the feedback--I have felt very appreciated for it. And thank you for being there--it felt good to share it with you.

This was very thought-provoking and phrased a lot of things in useful ways. I enjoyed reading it, and now thinking about it!

! Well, that's kind of you. I hope it's personal and not because I'm a pastor. I've heard a heck of a lot of terrible sermons since getting to know a lot of pastors....

Well, it's because I know you've listened to a lot of sermons and have well-exercised opinions about them, which goes with being a pastor, but isn't defined by it.

*smile* Thank you for sharing. Do you mind if I pass this on to my mother-in-law who's an Episcopalian Priest? she's always sharing her sermons with me, many about Roo, and it would be nice to share something back even if it isn't my own.

This really resonated with me, in part because I've been going through a round of "what next/where to?" Introspection lately.

Thank you.
