One thing I really appreciate about the Tara/Lettie Mae sub-plot is the misdirection setup, that, no, really their problems are purely human and not the result of some mystical forces despite all the other mystical things in play around them.

Yes, the leads are mighty fine. But okay, Alan (aka Alan Ball, the show's creator).. we get it already, Ryan Kwanten has a hot body. Now find a shirt and pants for the poor guy. You think he would be a little more tan given how much time he spends out of his clothes.

I've been reading through the books. I'm impressed by how the changes to the list of characters adds interest rather than detracts from the story line.
