Twilight

I haven't read the books. I didn't want to read them until after I saw the movies (which is also my stance on Harry Potter), so it could be a few years before I get around to them. This also means that I won't be comparing the movies to anything (other than other vampire-based movies and shows, I guess). Books also have an unfair advantage, as ( Read more... )

I am so not a Kristen fan either. She annoys me. I did absolutely love movie Alice, possibly more than book Alice. And the new directer will be fantastic, I think (and hope)!

i think a new director is fantastic, actually. i'm looking forward to someone elses take on it.

kistin was... okay. a little bland in her acting, however.

i imagine anyone who hasn't read the book will like the movie a lot more. the book just has too much in it to live up to, in my opinion.

Yeah, that happened to me with the second Bridget Jones. That's when I came up with the movie before books rule.

I'm hoping that with the new director, they'll be able to add things that are more important to the next movie.
they left out a lot of things that were a big deal in the book. once you read it you'll be like WTF!? why'd they change that or leave this out!!

I'm going to try very hard not to go see the second movie in the theatres..the book was depressing enough i don't think I'd be able to handle the movie.

I can understand that. Adapting a book is an impossible job. It's just so hard to condense the material into two hours and not leave out anything important.

Of course you liked it. Okay everybody on 3: "Yer a teenage girl."

I always thought you liked Kristen-Bella. You rave about her enough ;)

Other than in this entry, I don't think I've ever said a single word about Kristen or Bella. In fact, I've never talked to you about Twilight at all...except for when you complain about it without having any exposure to it at all.

Anyway, the first season of Carnivale is at Best Buy (or at least bestbuy.com) for $17.49.

Oh, you were trying to be witty. You should really leave that to the professionals. :p
