Wow.
Makes me hate Sirius just a bit. Goodness, he can be so stubborn and awfully sometimes. I love James here though, raw and truthful.

I adore Sirius, but...I try very hard to keep him fallible.
I'm very glad James came across that way. He's not fleshed out enough in canon.
Thanks!

This is wonderful. I love that it's Sirius' own betrayal of his family that makes him suspect that Remus is capable of betrayal. Very interesting.

We know, from DH, that James trusted Remus completely, so I assumed it was Sirius who stopped trusting the werewolf.
Sirius knows everyone has secrets; everyone is capable of hurting you.
Sometimes I think James was too naive.
Thank you for reading! I'm glad you liked it!

really wonderful. i've always believed that james didn't believe remus was the spy and only changed secret keepers because of sirius. really great insight into sirius' thinking.

I'm really glad you liked it. I was kinda afraid Sirius's reasoning made more sense in my head. But yeah, to me James is too loyal to not trust Remus but too loyal to not side with Sirius.
Friendship=confusion.
Thanks for reading!

Oooh, very nice! I love the intensity and, as others have said, Sirius' reasons for not trusting Remus were really interesting and plausible.

I'm really glad you liked it. I think Sirius and James are always intense, no matter what. Thank you.

The intensity is there, you see Sirius' tendency to be stubbornly decisive, even when foolish.

My only concrit is that you might want to have this beta read. There are a few spelling errors that deter the reader from an otherwise good read.

Thanks for reading it. I should go back and look through it for errors. And find a beta. I'm glad you liked it.
