Imagine working with two massive ovens..with the heat they generate when it is around 90 degrees outside! Then imagine starting at 0530 hours, and doing it for ten days straight without a lie-in or a day off ... My very last day in Italy and I am stuck in the apartment alone because of N attack of the irritating symptoms of IBS (I don't have it officially btw), but I can't stay away from the bathroom so how can I go out on a boat trip knowing that I am likely to be caught short? From tomorrow, Man From Uncle is finally being repeated on British TV!!! Although I own series 2 and 3 on Amazon, watching them rather depends on a decent internet signal, which in our house at least, seems to consist mostly of the rolling donut of doom rather than a consistent signal. Things are looking up. . .

I have just been reading through newsreports and watching film clips of the problems caused in the UK by this storm. Some parts of the country have had piles of snow dumped on them, very strong winds and rain causing havoc. Where I am in the south, we are very fortunate.
