My very last day in Italy and I am stuck in the apartment alone because of N attack of the irritating symptoms of IBS (I don't have it officially btw), but I can't stay away from the bathroom so how can I go out on a boat trip knowing that I am likely to be caught short? My friends might have stayed with me, only our hire car has to be returned to

I am feeling slightly better, my friend Maggie felt she couldn't leave me alone, and has come back to be with me. Now I am crying, out of gratitude!!!!!

Such a shame for you last day to be spoiled. You just have to try and focus on the great holiday that came before it :-)

How's the view from your apartment? Maybe the alone time can be used to review the trip, maybe write about it and put down on paper the wonderful parts of this seemingly awesome vacation. One day out of several... don't let it ruin all of the fun adventure you've had. Chin up :D

Thanks for the common sense. When I'm down i tend to lose mine. My friend Maggie came back to spend the day with me and the others went off together. We missed or day on the lake but we went for a walk Along the lakeside once my problem settled down .i will be grateful to her forever for her kindness and empathy we can see the magnificent lake Garda through the gaps in the hedge... So beautiful. Venice was awesome....i half believed i was in a fairy-tale..... But the place is actually real!!!!! So amazing. Thank you Glenna and Janto for reminding me to count my blessings. I have so many Great memories and photos. When i get home I will share some....... Feeling much happier now.
