The one who only watch the movies are missing a big chunk of the story.
Pbs with the camping part is that as boring as they are there are bits in it that are somehow needed to understand things in the end. But yeah, skipping it is what came to mind when I read it, already 4 years ago (damn!)
I so HATE it when JKR gets verbose (e.g. OotP), but I'll have to soldier on, I suppose. I absorped DH facts from summaries, metas and canon-compliant fanfics lol.
I'm intrigued by Draco/Neville, but I've never read a fanfic that sold me on their characterization. Any recs?
I never shipped them before those HP7 part2 party pictures came out. Now I'm looking for recs too ^^
I have a lot of reservation against OotP and mainly because of this. I always felt it was a book written simply because the transistion had to be written and new elements to be brought in, in order for the 6th book to be made.
The battle of Hogwart was really well played. If you've read enough thru sumaries and meta, I guess you could skip the camping part.
It's the morning of July 22nd here already actually. I hope I'm not too late for over there? =P
Saw your post last night but I had a bit of stuff to do so I put off responding for today. Hehe. =P Had to catch up with the stuff to do in the evening because I was out during the day watching a certain part 2 of a part 7 movie of a 7-part series. I wonder what that could be...? =P
Anyway...
I <3 kiddieSnape too!!!! =D And Neville <333
( ... )
Nope, I think I'm at the most Western point of the world, lol.
He was too cute to grow up to be Snape but omgomgomg!111
That's probably good advice for watching the movies. I do want to check out the bok canon though. Who knows, I might have a few HP drabbles left in me~
Yeah, I have that nostalgic happy sad feeling too ;_; =)

May your day be filled with happiness,
may your greed be sated.
May all your wishes come to you
and better yet still awaited.
