This is all the excuse you need to ship Draco and Neville

The one who only watch the movies are missing a big chunk of the story.

Pbs with the camping part is that as boring as they are there are bits in it that are somehow needed to understand things in the end. But yeah, skipping it is what came to mind when I read it, already 4 years ago (damn!)

*g* Thanks

I so HATE it when JKR gets verbose (e.g. OotP), but I'll have to soldier on, I suppose. I absorped DH facts from summaries, metas and canon-compliant fanfics lol.

I'm intrigued by Draco/Neville, but I've never read a fanfic that sold me on their characterization. Any recs?

I never shipped them before those HP7 part2 party pictures came out. Now I'm looking for recs too ^^

I have a lot of reservation against OotP and mainly because of this. I always felt it was a book written simply because the transistion had to be written and new elements to be brought in, in order for the 6th book to be made.

The battle of Hogwart was really well played. If you've read enough thru sumaries and meta, I guess you could skip the camping part.

Keep me posted when you find good ones ;-)
The long ones that I did find were...pre-OotP, so. Their characterization felt off.

Mmm, I feel 5th, 6th and 7th are all disjointed/out of sync with one another. Although I do love HBP muchly.

It does seem epic (from what I've absorbed via osmosis).

Found these rec lists.

Too lazy/busy (yes, you can be busy and lazy at the same time!) to go through them, do tell me if anything is particularly good =)
