*** Even more annoying is the few people who changed their fonts on an html level, so that the font stays a funky shape/color/size even when using "?format=light" or "?style=mine." *cries*
THIS IS A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY PUNISHABLE BY FILTERING. Well, that's what I do, anyway. :P
X-D I did this once and only once. I didn't want to change chunks of text to italics, so turned 'em into dark green Garamond instead. Months later, thought better of it. Took out the Garamond formatting but left the dark green alone.
1. Well, that's working out perfectly for you then! ;-)
2. Or you can see it as the characters being v. compelling and versatile. Honestly I think it's because the show is so anachronistic in terms of the characters' worldview and vocabulary. Even turning them into Americans require almost no effort X-D
3. lolol
4. ass = donkey = idiot? Maybe? =D Ooh, or Merlin's looking into the future and referring to Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream >=D
5. Reverse print? Srsly? O_o I did hear somewhere that colored paper is easier for ADD people to read, but that's black print on colored background, not white print on colored background.
Personally I find dark green font over white background the most soothing to my eyes. Reverse print is up there with red on black background >_< in terms of DO NOT WANT.
I'm tempted to compile a list of people who do this and note down their age and location* =P Is it just the younger set doing it? Or what? (But Merlin fandom doesn't really seem to be noticeably younger than HP fandom to me.)
* Because that wouldn't be creepy-stalkerish AT ALL.

2.*nods nods* Which doesn't say much about the show, because that should be one hell of a challenge.
3. I know, I knooow. It's great sometimes, but even chocolate can make you hurt all over when you eat too much.
4.Or maaayybe, that's some sophisticated insult, you know: "Arthur, you stupid donkey".
5. I wouldn't bet on it, but I think I read some research a few years ago saying that it's actually better for the eyes. 0_0
Saving links for the weekend. Breakfast over, make-up time! :P
