and how is Buffy going to cope with Spike and Angel, possibly soon to be Angelus, if Spike has his way? She might be able to keep Spike under control with her womanly wiles and his obvious affection for Joyce and Dawn, but I have a feeling he might still be loyal to Angelus ...

Wow -- can't believe that it took me this long to comment on this story when I look for updates ever day. Shame on me!

But, you've created such a convincing, creepy, delicious "Handmaid's Tale-ish" kind of world here, and its one of the most original pieces of Spuffy I've ever read. Brava!

And, is it a coincidence that I'm giving feedback just as Spike and Buffy are about to get down and dirty? I don't think so...

It would be justice if the coach were bought by Harmony's brother (only slayers can have pets?) and if not him then a member of his family to get some payback for kidnapping and turning Harm.

Spike and Buffy about to re-negotiate their living arrangements is making me anxious to read the next chapter. Good reading!
