Look, its time for my traditional year in review post (well I say traditional, but really I mean for the second year, but give it time - its getting traditional).

So I planned to do this last week but didn’t get a chance to after being waylaid by mundane but necessary real life bobbins, however as of Friday I have finally put up the Christmas decorations - better late than never, eh? Things I have learnt this week:

1. When you've installed new programs on the PC and it says you have to restart the computer for the installation updates etc to take effect, its not kidding. You can click all the options at your disposal until the cows come home, but it still won't work.

I went to see Atonement at a special preview screening (it doesn't officially come out here for another 2 or 3 weeks - I feel all special basking in the reflective glow of advance cinema tickets). LJ has gone all different - this seems to happen alot. Not necessarily on LJ, but I really should start reading emails/updates/memos/comments etc etc that warn of these sorts of changes rather than having to frantically follow the if you couldn't be bothered reading the emails/updates/memos/comments etc etc that we sent out last week/month/year ( Read more... )
