Things I have learnt this week:
1. When you've installed new programs on the PC and it says you have to restart the computer for the installation updates etc to take effect, its not kidding. You can click all the options at your disposal until the cows come home, but it still won't work.
2. Before driving yourself insane wondering why semagic won't allow you to post to multiple journals despite following all Janet and John stylee simple step by step, for the terminally daft simple and excellent instructions given to you (and finally figuring out that 1 is true), check you have the most recent version. You'll think you have - but you won't. Its a shame it takes 3 days to work this out.
Huge big whacking examples of the eye-wateringly stupid small set-backs aside, I have backed up my LJ, and mastered multiple posting. Tremble at my mastery of the LJ-clone sites.
No really, allow me this smug glee after the pain and suffering generated by the cruel knowledge that I was stumbling at point 1 and 2 above...
