Stick me in a box and move me now

Ok, ready to be in the new building. I'm tired of this moving crap. It's made worse by the layers of bureaucracy and the fact that we're still holding summer classes ( Read more... )

Ebags.com has really cute laptop cases. Many of them fit the apple laptops, too.

Good luck with the moving!

Those are cute. We're trying really hard to not buy stuff right now that's not a need or help us meet our other goal. So, I'm going to be frugal for now :)

Etsy has cute laptop cases too. Sounds like you're making progress. I have my fingers crossed for your move to happen soon and your scrapbook endeavor. :)

Hee! Great idea. I looked at them but am trying really hard to not buy stuff right now unless it's a need or helps us meet our other goal.

Digital scrapbooking? Didn't that used to be called "web design" ?

(*duck*run*hide*)

And yes, I remember predigital photography. LIke, with film and everything. I still have 3 or 4 film SLRs. Not, mind you, that I've used them since I got the D50, but you never know... I just found a dozen rolls of film whilst wrecking, er, cleaning, er rearranging my home office.

Smartypants! It's webdesign that you print out and make pretty. Phbbbbt!

I haven't used our film cameras since digital cameras came up to good megapixel range at an affordable price.

If you won't mind giving Death Star Telecom free advertising, I'll see what laptop bags we have available here at work. The stuff is generally well made, no worse than Kensington bags.

For a while we had Timbuk2 DST logo bags, but those did't circulate down to my pay grade. :)

I don't mind advertising for anyone, as long as it's not nicotine, alcohol, or porno. Thanks for looking and thinking about me. We're tightening our belts and that includes "don't buy stuff you can't afford and/or don't need".

The work-provided Dell laptop bag fits the iBook w/ room to spare. :) So I'm good until we need to carry both along, which may or may not ever happen.

Dell laptops are a** ugly and big. I imagine that the bag is quite roomy.

I'll see what we have around the office and keep an eye on the trash.

All hail the Second Great Empire and long live the Telecommunications Codominium.

Yep, that laptop is friggin huge and heavy. Except for the bigger shiny screen, I wouldn't trade my iBook for it.

Thankee again :)
