Green flannel that's on the edges. Once it's washed it should be nice and cuddly.

I love flannel! I've been thinking about using it on future quilts, particularly with the cute prints they have out lately. You did a great job, and so quick too!

My LQS lady said not to ever wash flannel first.* And when you do sew w/ it, be sure to clean out the bobbin area regularly. Flannel lints like crazy.

I cut the binding to 2 3/4" instead of 2.5" to give myself a little more slack since it's bulkier.

* of course, then later, I read that you should always preshrink it at least 2x. whatever.
