I often wonder if the Buffy fandom feel neglected and unloved as the QAF fandom sometimes. Buffy is on my top ten TV Shows of all time. I guess it's that star-crossed lover element at work again for me.
I dont know how far along you are in the series, but it shares a lot of similarities. Great music, killer chemistry among the cast, a freakish awkward series ending.
