Okay, I'm going to preface this by admitting that I am not exactly a fan of Wincest.
Yet, I LOVED this fic.
You absolutely and totally won me over with this: Little conversations at the firm turned into little lunch time meetings, and finally lunch time meetings turned into coffee that happened to run into dinner time and then suddenly Sam’s on his couch with Cas on his lap and he’s trying his damnedest to get the most obscene moan out of Cas’ mouth that he can.
and this:
“C’mere, angel cake,” Dean says playfully, and Cas is both equally surprised Dean understands the angel reference of his namesake and also pissed that Dean keeps poking fun. Cas pouts as Dean pulls him into a hug. “I think it’s a nice name,” Dean continues, and Sam watches Cas’ face flush when Dean ruffles his hair affectionately. “Sorry to get your feathers in a bunch, Cas.”And it just kept getting better

To be honest, we usually don't have much Wincest in our plots. Just because it usually doesn't work that way; we laughed about how crazy Wincest-y this was and how unusual that was for us. I'M SO GLAD IT DIDN'T DRIVE YOU AWAY. I know sometimes it can be a little too much for some peeps. So I'm really glad you gave it a chance, darling!
HAHAHAHA SWEATY SHIRTLESS DEAN IS ALWAYS WORTH IT, AMIRITE? <3 <3 <3
As far Dean walking away, I personally didn't feel it would be right for him to just accept it and decide to return the feelings; with Dean's habit of leaving, I think he would need to actually go to think about it. To have him just all of a sudden be perfectly fine and accept Sam's feelings seemed cheap and a cop-out. So, Dean left! And you know Cas would be pissed. Because as much as Cas may like Dean, he's Sam's boyfriend, and he would totally lay into Dean about leaving, especially when he told Cas he would be fine

Sweaty shirtless Dean is worth the price of admission, anytime, anywhere!
Oh, yeah, I get that Dean HAD to walk away to process, that having him suddenly be all fine and dandy about this MAJOR DEVELOPMENT would certainly be OOC for the Dean Winchester that we know and love -- but it was still a painful scene. I was upset for poor Sammy!

Yeah, I love Sam's S1-S2 hair!
But yeah, the chicken is my favorite part and the only bit that came out the way I wanted it to. Now if I can only get the GUYS to actually look like who they're supposed to. *back to drawing board*
I was laughing at Sam and Dean all through the "Did we talk about something?" "I don't know, did we?" "Well, you're acting like we talked about something" "Well, people talk about things all the time. What do you think we talked about?" conversation. I love bossy, tenacious, passive aggressive Cas - he's the one who gets things done in that relationship.
OH I SHIP THIS OT3 LIKE NO OTHER. When we first thought about it, it was summarized as Domestic!Sassy and Yardwork!Dean, haha! :3 I like Sassy as a springboard for OT3 because so many people have done it with either Dean/Cas or Sam/Dean with the starting pairing.
