Things are going well. We've spent the last couple days learning how to drive the boats so we can take the kids out... pretty easy. The only new thing to learn is driving twin engines instead of just one.... We spent Monday on a beach on Marathon drinking and laying out. Today is our first day off which is why it's been so long for me to send anything out. We don't have internet on campus so we have to drive into town. Things are going well! so, I just got a job in Florida. I have to be there a week from today. I'm freaking out. I'm moving to the keys on Sunday... who'd have guessed it

The thesis edits are finally done. I'm taking it tomorrow to be printed and bound and turned in. Yay. It's 94 pages long... it's thicker than I thought it would be. I'm glad it's done :-)

I'm spending all day today packing b/c we're moving into the new house tomorrow and I'm also flying home tomorrow... florida was alright. They liked me, but it feels a lot like summer camp so I'm not sure if I want to work there or not... we'll see how Dallas goes.

So I've sorta entertained the thought that I wouldn't have a job when I graduated in the back of my mind... Everyone said it's hard to get hired... I applied for a job at the Dallas Zoo at some point this summer. Later I got a letter saying that I was qualified and that they were going to fwd my resume to the hiring dept. That confused me as I already knew I was qualified and I thought I had already sent my resume to hiring... Anyhoo, I hadn't heard anything from them since then so I assumed ( Read more... )
