Happy belated Birthday Grandpa
saturday would have been my grandpa's 95th birthday. Just saw an email from my grandma who went to his grave and put roses on his grave on saturday. April will be 15 years since he left us, but it still feels like yesterday. And now with the boys, I look at them and think about what they're missing. I'm wondering of it's time to return to livejournal, I have a lot on my plate with 2 kids, a husband, school, MOPS, and bible study but I think it will be good for me to write again. So I'm gonna make it a point to write once a week for a while and see how it goes. :-) then go from there

i lost my job...on my birthday...ya, happy birthday to me, right? our car died so we're kinda stranded...so even if i found a job out of bus territory i couldn't take it. and i've found many i couldn't apply for. it just sucks. our section 8 went through finally. we moved into a 2 bedroom apartment in stockton. its REALLY nice. we're right behind ( Read more... ) -

life has been pretty interesting. I had surgery on the 16th they removed my gall bladder. It's a good thing too, because it was in pretty bad shape. JJ's bday party was on the 21st. My dad and Patty came down on the 13th and stayed until the 21st. I just went back to work on sunday after being out for a month. I feel a lot better since the surgery ( Read more... ) -
gall stones
i have gall stones. i don't have kaiser anymore...or i never did. my insurer didn't tell me until one ER visit, one ultrasound and 2 doctors visits had already gone by. and the day before i was going to be seen by a freakin surgeon!!!! needless to say, i'm pissed. i made an appointment with another doctor that accepts the insurance i do have, and i ( Read more... ) -

its been soo long...
Life has been pretty crazy lately. Just being without makes you realize stuff...mistakes you made in the past, and all that nonsense. But, things are starting to look up. I've been without a computer for a while....umm...I got a promotion at work. I'm in the bakery/deli now. Just started my 3rd week. I'm getting $9.20/hr and 40 hours a week. Minus the taxes and union dues and garnishment I'm bringing home a little over $215 a week. Not too bad ( Read more... )
