New Gen SGA Zine: Jumper 4

It's that time of year...MediaWest Zines!  I once again tribbed to Brate's wonderful gen SGA Jumper zine.  Below is her announcement with details:

Hello, everyone! I wanted to announce this year's edition of the Stargate:

I miss them, too. Sigh. And I rarely have time to write anymore, but I try my best to get a story or two out of me.

Do you know how the claiming of fics to make art works? I haven't run into the Genficathon before.

They have a separate LJ set up for claiming the fics for artwork so I'm not sure about all the details. Membership is moderated, but I think that's to keep things as anonymous as possible as all fics are posted anonymously by the mods for a few weeks before revealing the authors. It's a fun ficathon...lots of great prompts and genre combos but this is the first year they've had artwork. All the info can be found at their LJ here:

Thanks for the reminder. I can certainly vouch for the quality based on last year's "Jumper Three." Both the book itself and the stories were top notch. It made for delightful summer vacation reading. "Dangling Participles"

Unfortunately, I lost track of which authors I sent a comment note to and which ones I didn't. So, just in case I didn't send one to you, I will say now how much I loved "Dangling Participles." It was a great friendship story and the precarious situation made my palms sweat just reading it.

I am delighted you wrote for the Genficathon again. I can't wait to read all the stories there.

The Jumper zines are always fun to write for. The crew that runs them is great to work with and they always put out quality zines. This year the binding looks just like a paperback you would buy in a bookstore. Very professional.

And I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed Dangling Participles. It's fun little fic. *G* Thanks so much!

How do I order Jumper 4?

I'm so disappointed I just read about the event in Lansing a day late. I read in your post that Jumper 4 can be purchased for $17.50, but am unsure how to go about that. It says you take paypal but where do I go to order it?

Unfortunately,I don't sell the zines. I would contact Brate at the link above and ask her if she has any left to sell. Otherwise she said Agents with Style would be handling the sales after Mediawest. I don't have a link to them but I've found them before with google. If you can't reach Brate through her web site let me know and I'll email her directly.

The link only takes me to Agents with Style where Jumper 4 is not listed. I tried clicking on Brate's name to contact her but my computer will not go to email from there. I am unable to see the actual email address to contact her. Can you email her directly please or let me know how to do it? Thanks

Hello! River let me know you needed help. I just got back from the convention last night, and I will be sending the zine files to Agent With Style tomorrow. Unfortunately, I only offer the zine for a limited time, and then I pass over distribution to AWS. Hopefully, she'll get it up quickly and allow you to order. [I'll let her know people are looking for it.]

And I will definitely fix my email address so people can read it.
